75% of MAC graduates to pursue university overseas.
Building on their global education, 75.3% of Macau Anglican College (MAC) secondary graduates from the class of 2025 are set to embark on their university journey at institutions abroad.
The Career Guidance Office confirmed that Australia emerged as students’ top university destination (20.3%), followed by Macau (17.4%), Hong Kong (13%), the UK and the Netherlands tied with (10.1%), Europe & Others (7.2%), and Canada (4.3%). Meanwhile, other popular options are China, Japan, Malaysia, the U.S.A. and Taiwan.
About 17.4% of MAC graduates plan to continue their college education in Macau.
“At MAC, we are committed to equipping our graduates with 21st-century lifelong skills that not only prepare them for higher education but also life. Regardless of their career and university choices, they possess the competence and character to succeed,” reassured the School Principal, Mr Robert Alexander.
