73% of MAC graduates to pursue university overseas
Taking their global education further, 73.2 % of Macau Anglican College (MAC) secondary graduates, class of 2024, are set to embark on their university journey in institutions abroad.
The Career Guidance Office confirmed that the United Kingdom emerged as students’ top university destination (15.5%), followed by Australia (14.1%), China (9.9%), Canada (8.5%), Hong Kong (8.5%), and the USA (5.6%). Meanwhile, other popular options are Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore and Taiwan.
About 27% of MAC graduates have planned to continue their college education in Macau.
“At MAC, we are committed to equipping our graduates with 21st-century lifelong skills that not only prepare them for higher education but also life. Regardless of their career and university choices, they possess the competence and character to succeed,” reassured the School Principal, Mr Robert Alexander.
